Can I arrange an airport tour?

We are happy to host groups of school children and students from year 1 to university level in order to further educate the community on the economic benefits that Newquay Airport brings to Cornwall and the South West, as well as our destination schedule. Due to the time and resources that are involved in arranging these tours, we are only able to conduct them during our quieter period from October to March and generally within normal office hours; Monday-Friday, 9-5pm. If you wish to visit outside of these times, we will try to accommodate the request but the areas covered within the tour / visit may be limited. Due to the large volume of requests we recently have received from various organisations, we are now not able to facilitate any more requests until next winter 2016/17.

In order to assess requests you will need to fill out a form which covers information like numbers attending, what you would like to see and cover etc. If you would like a form please contact: zrayment@newquaycornwallairport.com. From this information we will get back in touch to cover the process in more detail.

As numerous departmental staff are involved with their time in aiding these visits, we do ask for a donation of £25 to one of our official charities; Cornwall Air Ambulance, ShelterBox or the Guide Dogs Association as a good will gesture rather than asking for payment.

Can pets travel?

In certain cases, check with individuals airlines. Skybus accept dogs. Assistance dogs can travel, contact airline to book.

What happens if my flight is delayed, can I leave the airport?

Check-in times remain the same regardless of any delay, so you still need to be at the airport on time.

Is there anywhere to store my luggage at the airport?

Unfortunately there isn't this facility at the airport, but there is at Newquay Tourist Information Centre: For £3.00 per item for the first hour and then £1.00 per item per hour after that, you can leave your luggage safe in the knowledge it will be there for you to collect before your onward journey.
